Outreach Working Group

Inspiration is all around you

The UWE School of Art & Design Outreach Group have designed three projects for students in KS1 - KS5 to explore the creative world, and your place in it.

You’re invited to get inspired, to imagine and to unlock your creative potential.

About the projects

The fun, expressive projects you are about to embark on are designed to enable students to consider how Art and Design disciplines influence our everyday life and the future. They take about an hour to complete and are self – led with tutorials delivered though a mixture of video, text and graphics.

Themes include sustainability, storytelling, written and visual language, imagination and cultural communication.

Design for the FUTURE

︎Explore ‘the future’ as a design tool:
Design is all around us, the buildings that we live and learn in and the seats we are sitting in, these often-commonplace items are the result of not only aesthetic decisions but also practical solutions for everyday problems such as the need for shelter, the urge for comfort and the desire to acquire knowledge.
